Workshop

The Workshop suggests conducting negotiations between foreign companies representatives and pre-selected Russian companies representatives based on special rented business hall in major hotels or business centers according to the IMC ”Moscow” prepared schedule.

Main advantages:

  • Large number of contacts (meeting) held per day
  • No need to travel around a city
  • Compact setting of a foreign company’s goods samples for the most appealing exhibit view

Technology

All companies which comprise the group of Customers are divided into profile groups according to similar distribution channels. For example: confectionary, premium quality footwear, domestic textile, furniture manufacturers and so on.

Hereafter work for each group is preceded with Presentational Marketing Service for a Group of Companies.

This technique enables to save on expenses for business partners search and matchmaking for each Customer company separately.

However if a Customer company manufactures a unique kind of product and can’t be joined in a group of those with similar profile, the work is conducted solely.

The work on preparation for a Negotiation tour is preceded in two ways: potential business partners search and organizational support.

  1. Partners search and matchmaking is implemented with our Presentational Marketing Service technology.
    1. Forming a database of potential business partners for each company profile
    2. Telemarketing – informing Russian companies about upcoming visit of a Customer, their commercial offers and main meetings assignments. Latest updates on a Russian company, identifying persons who decide on business collaboration, defying the level of interest in partnership.
    3. Holding preliminary presentational meetings at offices of Russian companies which include demonstration of catalogues and product samples aimed to find out their substantial opinion on Customers products and also making inquiries and get replies before the actual meetings with Customer take place.
    4. Selection of the most prospective Russian companies and inviting them to take part in the event where bilateral negotiations are to take place.
    5. Coordination of the date and time of the bilateral meetings with selected companies, setting a schedule.
    6. Delivery of nominal invitation cards for representatives of Russian companies.

  2. Organizational work. IMC Moscow manages all organizational work for holding the business meetings
    • Selection and booking of negotiation areas
    • Providing exhibition equipment and extra light (when necessary)
    • Coffee brakes organization
    • Transfer
    • Translation/interpretation service
    • Hotel selection and booking for foreign delegates’ accommodation and so on

The Outcome

The result achieved by IMC Moscow is the confirmed number of business meetings among business mission participants and Russian companies interested in cooperation (as based on consequent of preliminary meetings).

As a rule not less than 5-7 contacts a day are made at a Workshop so the most optimal way is to have two days of negotiations which enable to hold up to 14 meetings.
